Watch our featured video of the day as three guys tried to break the longest taxi ride around the world at 33,000 km.

Using a 1992 London Black Cab, three travelers planned a 50,000 km-route around the world as they tried to break the 33,000km Guinness Record. Starting in Australia and with the help of a couple of sponsors to finance their trip, all they have to do now is to pursue their plans by always keeping their taxi meter running, check in with a particular employee or official of every city they’ve visited, get pictures of a particular sign or landmark of their location as well as provide rides to locals as they travel.

Catch them in their journey in this clip uploaded by Peggy Fok, who further shares his interview with them right here,

Paul Archer, Leigh Purnell, and John Ellison: three British lads on a mission to raise £20,000 for the British Red Cross while breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest taxi journey, breaking 30,000 mile expedition from London to Sydney. The following day, my friend and fellow CouchSurfer, Peggy Fok, and I met up with them for an interview to get the low-down on this amazing project "It’s on the Meter" along with putting together this quick video piece of the cab in action!
