The Avala Mountain in Belgrade, Serbia is a historical site that's draped with beautiful trees and wildlife, an amazing destination in this area. The word Avala is derived from tyhe Arabic word "havala," which means "beautiful view."

Mountain Avala is just 511 meters high and is covered by evergreen forests and other trees. The wildlife that surrounds Mount Avala has been a protected natural zone since 1859 for the rich animal variety and unique plants that grow there.

At the top of the mountain is the Unknown Soldier Monument that's dedicated to the soldiers who fought in World War I. The mountain is connected to roads, highways and railways, making it easy to get to.

Near the top of the mountain is the Avala Hotel, Mitrovicev Dom lodge and theCarapicev brest students' rest home. This area is perfect for picnics, sightseeing and enjoying nature!
